Her choice of movie or a genre can tell you a lot about her personality and you can point out the similarities between the two of you. If you’re interested in the same things, it calls for a full-on nerd war.

Tip: You know you have a troublemaker at hand if her favorite movie/book is Fifty Shades of Grey.

This is one of my favorite questions of all time. As soon as you ask this, you’ll see gears shifting in her head. Not only will you get to know about which kind of a gift she values, but you’ll also learn about the person who gave it to her.

Sometimes a girl might not be comfortable talking about the gifts she’s received or she might not have her favorite gift at the back of her head. In these cases, you need to have a back-up question ready to avoid the awkwardness.

#6 Do you have any hobbies?

Most of us have hobbies which we can talk about for hours with anyone interested in listening. Be the audience she has been wanting, and you might find yourself in her inner-circle.

If you know anything at all about her hobbies, score some extra points by chipping in with your thoughts. Tip: Once you’re in the inner circle, you’re just a step away from landing in the friend zone. If you’ll be giving away any hints, make sure they’re the right ones.

Many of us follow a sport and have our favorite teams. You’ll be in luck if you both have the same favorite team because following the same team puts you on the same team.

There is only one kind of person who doesn’t like food and those are the people without a pulse. If she doesn’t like any of the two options, ask her what her favorite food is and which place makes the best.

You’re going to be in so much luck if she says she makes the best cookies/pasta/pizza or anything for that matter. Just tell her you would want to try it and try it soon.

#10 What does a perfect day look like to you?

By the end of the conversation, you want to leave her wanting more. Even if she doesn’t look in a hurry and has some more time to chat, end up the conversation abruptly so you have an excuse to catch up again.

Before you go, ask her what a perfect day looks like to her. After she’s done narrating her perfect day, ask if you could fit in a “meeting” at her favorite food joint.

All through the conversation, make sure it doesn’t feel like you’re interviewing her for a job as the “perfect bride”. Keep it casual and steer the chat to where she’s most comfortable.
